Miriam Catapano, President

Mrs. Catapano joined the board in 2009.  She has served as the organization's president since 2014 and previously held the office of vice president from 2012-2013.  Miriam's family has long ties with both Massena Memorial and the MMH Foundation.  Her brother, Joe Clopman, served as a board member in the early years of the organization and her father, Harry Clopman, was instrumental in many fundraising campaigns and helped spearhead the Ben Franklin Club.  Miriam lives in Massena with her husband, Frank.

Amy Page, Vice President - NBT Bank

Mrs. Page joined the board in 2012 and sits on the finance, bylaws, and radiothon committees.  Amy knows Massena well and is interested in the future of her community.  She resides in Massena with her husband, Kirk, and their young sons.

















Mark Bogdan, Treasurer - Mark Bogdan CPA

Mr. Bogdan joined the Foundation as incoming treasurer in 2014.  Mark brings valuable expertise to the accounting side of the organization.  Mark has a long history of volunteerism in Massena where he resides with his wife Pamela.
















Robert Wolleben, Secretary - Massena Memorial Hospital

Mr. Wolleben joined the board upon his arrival at Massena Memorial in 2014.  As the hospital's chief executive officer, Mr. Wolleben automatically holds the office of secretary for the Foundation.  Bob brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences from the other healthcare institutions he has worked at.  He resides in Massena with his wife, Mary.













Mayor Timothy Currier - Village of Massena

Mayor Currier joined the board upon his election as an ex-officio member of the board.  The mayor is a life long resident of Massena and values access to healthcare for his constituents.  Mayor Currier lives in Massena with his wife, Emily, and children.


Patrick Dowdle - Whalen, Davey & Looney

Mr. Dowdle joined the board in 2000 serving as president from 2002-2006.  Patrick serves on the finance committee.  Patrick resides in Winthrop with his wife, Carolyn, and has two grown children.


Supervisor Joseph Gray - Town of Massena

Supervisor Gray joined the board upon his election as an ex-officio member of the board.  Joe has been active with many existing Foundation events and helped launch our new GiveGab initiative.  Joe resides in Massena with his wife, Marcy.



Elizabeth Lantry-Dow - Charter

Elizabeth joined the board in 2016 but has been a member of the radiothon committee for a number of years.  She brings energy and ideas to the table and is always eager to work.  Elizabeth lives in Brasher Falls with husband, Robert, and children Charlie and Mary Kate.


Daniel Pease, Esq - Pease & Gustafson, LLP

Mr. Pease joined the board in 1992 and has offered his legal expertise ever since.  He served as president in 2001.  Dan serves on the major gifts and bylaws committees.  He also chaired the nominating committee for many years.  Dan lives in Massena.


Loretta Perez - Massena Travel

Mrs. Perez is the liaison for the hospital board of managers.  A lifelong resident of Massena, she is concerned about access to healthcare for her community.


Steve Rombough, Arconic

Mr. Rombough is a lifelong resident of Massena.  He is concerned about his hometown hospital and joined our board in 2012.  He brings a unique perspective from his experience in industry through both Alcoa and now Arconic.


Wendy Chambers - MMH Auxiliary

Ms. Chambers is the president of the MMH Auxiliary - an important partner of the Foundation.  Both organizations only mission is to support Massena Memorial.


Gail Schneider - Town of Louisville

Mrs. Schneider joined the board in 2007 and has since served as both the organization's vice president and multi-term president.  Gail believes 110% in the importance of supporting our local hospital.


MacKenzie Shoen

Mr. Shoen is our longest serving board member joining just after the organization was formed in 1987.  He served as our treasurer for 30 years!  His dedication to Massena Memorial is amazing.


Gretchen Tarbell - Tarbell Managment Group

Mrs. Tarbell and the Tarbell Family are long standing supporters and joined the board of directors 2014.  Mrs. Tarbell's connection to community is palpable as she is dedicated to help those in need.


Ann Viskovich - Fay Motors

Ms. Viskovich joined the board in 2010.  Her family's business has long supported the efforts of the Foundation in support of Massena Memorial.  As a lifelong member of the Massena community, she knows the importance of access to healthcare for Massena.
