January 25, 2012 - The MMH Foundation board of directors presented Charlie Fahd, MMH CEO, with checks for $38,000 for the West Wing Expansion Project and $2,000 for digitial mammography softward.  Both were a result of pledge payments made from Team Health East, John & Resa Wing, MMH Auxiliary, and St. Lawrence Radiology Associates.  Pictired are the MMH Foundation board of directors for 2012 which includes: Gail Scheneider (outgoing president), Miriam Catapano (vice-president), Dan Pease, Rick Campbell (president), Charlie Fahd (secretary), Helen White, Ann Viskovich, Kay Romeo, Mac Shoen (treasurer), Mayor Jim Hidy, John Martin, John Murray.  Missing from photo: Supervisor Joe Gray, Patrick Dowdle, Frenchie Coupal, Tina Corcoran.
 

 
January 25, 2012 -Outgoing MMH Foundation president, Gail Schneider, turns the reigns over to incoming president, Rick Campbell, at the foundation’s recent annual meeting.
 
 

 
 
December 21, 2011 - Jackie Dow, Director, of the Center for Cancer Care at CPH receives a check for $1,817 from Julia Rose, Executive Director, of the Massena Memorial Hospital Foundation.  The check is the proceeds from the 3rd Annual Droppin’ the Gloves on Cancer women’s hockey tournament held in October.  The tournament has raised over $23,791 over its short history.  Next year’s tournament may be opened up to a co-ed and U19 girls’ division if sufficient interest exists. 
 

November 8, 2011 - Laurie Logan, Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager, of North Country Savings Bank in Massena presents Julia Rose, Executive Director, of Massena Memorial Hospital Foundation with a $1,000 check.  North Country Savings Bank values local healthcare and has provided annual support to the MMH Foundation since 2004.     
 

 
October 10, 2011 - The Goswami family was on hand to celebrate the Dr. Sateesh K. Goswami Stress Lab dedication with friends and family.  Dr. Goswami served the patients of Massena Memorial with ultimate care.  He also started the Massena Free Clinic for those without insurance.
